THE EFFECT OF AUXINS AND ACTIVATED CHARCOAL ON THE ROOTING OF GERBERA IN VITRO

Summary

The effect of auxins and their combinations with activated charcoal on the number of roots, their length, percentage of microcuttings rooting and root fresh weight was determined. The possibility of rooting stimulation and inhibition of this process and adaptation to the technology of cultivation were shown in this paper. These processes depend on the cultivar, kind of medium (+/- WA) and auxin concentration.
